Job Purpose or Objective(s): ​ Application analysts are the primary support contacts for each application. They coordinate all issues that arise for their application areas and must be very knowledgeable about our policies, procedures, and business operations.

Primary Tasks:

  1. You will be the primary support contact for the application's end‐users. Troubleshooting problems and questions

  2. You will identify issues that arise in their application area and issues that impact other application teams, and working to resolve them

  3. You will guide workflow design, building and testing the system, and analyzing other technical issues associated with Epic software. Identifying and implementing requested changes to the system

  4. You will serve as a liaison between end-users' workflow needs and Epic staff

  5. You will communicate with Application Manager and Epic representatives, including participating in weekly project team meetings. Reviewing the status of projects and issues on an ongoing basis with leadership

  6. You will work with Epic representatives, your organization's business community, and end users to ensure the system meets our needs regarding the project deliverables and timeline

  7. You will develop an understanding of operational needs to set the direction for our workflows by attending site visits and other integrated sessions

  8. You will hold weekly communications with team members to discuss the status of deliverables, shared issues, end‐user concerns, budget, and upcoming milestones

  9. You will need to have the ability to travel for project collaboration and training

  10. You will preform other responsibilities as assigned by management

Required Education, Skills and Experience:

MINIMUM

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or healthcare field or 4 (+) years professional experience in healthcare or business related field

  • 2 years of healthcare experience in areas represented on team

  • Existing knowledge of healthcare culture, personnel, and processes

  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills

  • Strong coordination, facilitation, consultation, and conflict resolution skills

  • Strong critical thinking skills: The ability and willingness to see things in an open-minded way

  • Operate and communicate while under pressure.
