Casino Game Protection Operator

Job Purpose or Objective(s): You will observe all areas of Casino Operations using the video management system with a specialized focus on Card and Table Game Protection. You will maintain a comprehensive understanding of all card and table games offered at Choctaw Casinos and the applicable governing standards to ensure gameplay is protected. You will compile timelines and multiple other reports detailing any deviations from standard gameplay. You will report to the Game Protection Manager.
Primary Tasks:
You will perform daily audits on table and card games based on game performance by documenting guest buy-ins, length of play, win vs. loss, average bets, and skill level of the guest.
Determine if guest(s) are using basic strategy or a money management system and engaging in advantage or illegal play by overseeing live or recorded video.
Employ training through several industry resources to remain current on all forms of cheating or the use of devices that could potentially compromise game play or provide player advantage.
Remain current on all table games offered by Choctaw Casinos and Resorts, work and communicate essential information to Surveillance Management.
Assess card and table game dealers to identify proper pace of the game and any procedure violations. Violations are documented and forwarded to the Game Protection Manager.
Communicate to surveillance management any activities that are noteworthy, suspicious, or unusual.
Communicate with Table Games Management that allows both departments to help identify game changes, adjustments to the layout and the need for dealer retraining or necessary disciplinary action based on Game Protection Operator observations and issued violations.
Monitor table game's play, on procedural consistency and accuracy of monetary transfers between the dealer(s) and guest(s).
Use the video management system to review or provide video and documentation to approved departments as requested; assist Security and Tribal Police with internal investigations relating to sensitive security issues; may testify in court when called upon as a representative of Choctaw Casinos.
Other tasks as may be assigned.
Job Requirements
MINIMUM
High School Diploma or GED required
General computer skills/keyboarding
Typing skills of 40 wpm
Knowledge of table games policies, procedures and gameplay
work nights and/or weekends
Two (2) years table games and/or surveillance experience
